It has been a melancholy kind of evening for me. It was time to say good-bye to the internet radio station. That is okay, it was not a lengthy career by any means. I was hoping that it would pan out to become something some day. Like, a decent job somewhere in the communications field either writing ads, story lines etc. I did not want to become known over the airwaves over night however. So, in the end this was the best decision I could have made. Now, I can go back to being and doing what I love first and foremost. A stay at home, happily married wife taking care of her relationship with her higher power, if you call it that I call it/Him God. I did however manage to piss a few old timer radio people off tonight. I don't care !! I stand by what I believe in always !! If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything, as the saying goes. Now I can work on my memoirs/family novel. This time I have enough time to complete ( so I think ) before my grandmother turns 95. Honestly , my family has enough history to be able to write a mini-series on . I am sure I have since the station job ( if ya call it that ) received a lot of slack probably behind my back. But, hey that is the day and age we live in, right ??!! Well, I jsut felt the need to catch ya all up on what is going on this weekend. Hubs, went to his Blues Festival over night had such a good time he camped out with all his buds and then came crawling basically through the door this am saying, " man I missed my bed last night sleeping on a futon mattress was not the most brilliant idea "". Really ? What makes you say that the fact your not 25 anymore honey. Hum, I have to tell myself that ALL the time . Well, it is time for dream land. Kinda funny when you finally let go of something that you know is not going to amount to anything, the more relaxed and at peace your body becomes. Thats called letting someone more powerful than you be in control of your life. Not running self will run riot. Okay, starting to ramble goodnight dear friends. May we all be blessed !!
