Well Good Morning Everyone !!! Working on my second cup of coffee this am. Hubby woke me up way too early lol !! En route to his fav ever Blues Festival this afternoon with fam and friends. I just love the last of the summer festivals whether they are music related or history related. It means my fav season of all time is right around the corner. Fall !!! The changes of the colors and the beautiful smells of the season. Awwww, then yes its winter time my second all time fav. I always say I can NEVER move away from my snow, NEVER, EVER, EVER !!! Anways, so what is everyone's plan for the weekend ?? Mine, I am spending with the fam, and working on many projects that I have given myself. The most recent one is writing a book for my grandmother, as well to be passed down to my son, kinda like an adult form of a baby book. LOL !! I think it is important to have stuff to pass from one generation to the next in a family. And, as I am telling myself or see myself sharing this with the public. WOW !! One more thing to add to my plate of stuff to accomplish. I am not the most organized person, mom etc. I do NOT have tubs placed in my cabinets with labels etc . I have two kitchen junk drawers that forever drives the hubs nutz !! LOL !! As well, I am the type of mom well okay we don't need to use that notebook or set of pens this year, yuppers throw them into the closet till I am in need of them or run across them on a cleaning binge and say ohhh wow where did that come from lol !! I LOVE writing and always have even as a young child. That also was my escape from the loss of my mom at such a young age. I would make up make believe characters etc. Instead of an imaginary friend as most kids had , my imaginary friend was a pen and or pencil and a notebook. Then, my escape grew into music. Preferably back then it was all about Elvis. Elvis albums ( yes albums first one was Burning Love ) , Elvis books, Priscilla wigs, Elvis posters ALL over my room . My friends & I would always most of the time dress up like Elvis and do the Pelvis dance in front of the long length floor style mirror. YES, and singing with the hairbrush microphone. LOL !! OKAY, enough of childhood. Yes, I am writing the book/memoirs and it is bringing some good stuff out. So, whatever you are doing this weekend, I hope it reminds you of a happy time/place from either your life and or childhood experiences. Hopefully, its the music that brings that memory back !! To me that is what music is all about-the comfy cozy comfort sounds of life !!!! Have a most beautiful weekend everyone !!
