Rocking Blues Mama's Family Favorite Recipe's

For those who love the fall season this is for you ;

Pumpkin Bread
2 cans of  canned pumpkin
3c sugar
1c water
1c vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 1/3 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp ground cloves
Heat oven to 350. In a large mixing bowl combine pumpkin, sugar,water,veg oil,and eggs. Beat until well mixed. Mix the rest of the ingredients into a seperate bowl. Stir till combined,slowly add dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture,beat until smooth. grease 2 9x6 inch loaf pans and dust with flour. Evenly divide batter into two pans. Bake for 60-70 minutes. Cool for 10-15 Remove bread by turning pans over and tapping lightly on bottom of bread pans and placing the bread on wire racks.
The smell that filters throughout your house/home when baking this is amazing !!! I always give the second loaf away as the loaves are pretty good size !!! It is always a winner in my house !!! 

Kool-Aid Cookies
1 pkg Kool-Aid ( with no sugar ) 
1 2/3 cup of sugar
1 1/4 cup of butter
2 eggs beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3 c flour
1/2 c. sugar for dipping
Mix Kool-aid with the sugar, add softened butter, and mix until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in salt and baking soda. Add flour in half cup increments and mix well after each addition. Roll dough into one inch balls and dip into sugar. Place them onto greased cookie sheet and into a 325 degree oven for 10-12 min. DONT OVER BAKE THEM !! Remove cookies from sheet after one minute and let cool. Am thinking use Kool-Aid colors for upcoming holiday season yum yum they are so moist and yummy !!!!
