Good Morning Everyone !! Welcome to my newest blog creation !!! I am an active blogger and an Independent Sales Representative and program manager for Blues Influence Show on Wrenradio.net . As well, I am a stay at home mom first and foremost before ANYTHING !! Being that this is how people are connecting these days is via Internet services right in front of your face. I have come from a year or even go back further four years ago when I was awaken to the beautiful Blues music and artists , from following my biggest mentor in the music career business one could have. Whether your an uprising musician that he takes under his wing or a fan with dreams to fulfill, there are those higher up who still want to see people fulfill that dream !! This is how it started for me. I am a stay at home mom, happily married living in a small rural community. I have had loss after loss my entire life starting with my mother at the age of four. Music has always been my life my, escape from the pain of the losses. My husband came home one night as he IS a Blues Nut/Freak-o himself. He was all pumped up it was late I was sleeping on the couch, he came in shook me awake and said c'mon I want you to hear these guys they ROCK !!! I said No I am sleepy goodnight !!! Anyways it happened to be then, New Soul Cowboys/Anthony Gomes. YES, the next day I poped the CD in Primary Colors one of Anthony's first Cd's and I was hooked on Blues from day one. Put away the Ozzy and crank out some kick assing sounds of AG and Muddy Waters baby and this mama is a happy camper. Blues musicians have that deep rough sexy voice in their music that ya just don't find in rock n roll anymore. They have EVERYTHING that makes you feel the song they are performing !! I ALWAYS say Blues Music to me is like riding a Harley for the first time, getting your first tattoo. It's the most soul felt feeling you could EVER have. NOW, the story is not done !! It goes on !! So, I was introduced to AG himself by myself. My girlfriend/best fried at the time was coaxing me the entire time I went solo to his first show,hubby was kind and wanted me to go have FUN & cut loose. AND I DID !!! Haha !! Of course I was with my body guard brother in law who IS good friends with AG. So, anyways she was coaxing me just go say hi dammit he is the nicest guy ever and I was like the little groupie wanna be awww look ( duh she is on the phone dummy not with you in person ) its Anthony he's right in front of me wthell awwwww !! So, I went up to him and he gave me a hug and said ""Finally, its YOU "" huh ?? Ohh, again hahahhahh the one that is constantly on social networks lol !!! So, ever since then it was boom , friend/mentor/adoptive fam member. That's it nothing more nothing less, total utmost respect on both ends. Since that door has opened up my life has drastically changed. I helped with a fundraiser and was NOT expecting ANY of this station stuff to come into my life --but hey I think it's kinda cool. I don't get paid for what I do I however LOVE what I do that to me makes ALL the difference in the world !! I do get commission incentive and who knows my name is SOOOOO out there right now it might just pay off in a real cool way some day !! Dreams happen they do come true but you can't sit there and let it come to you !!!!! I have to as well say I was at a very very dark space not to long ago about a year ago. I had lost my 17 year old grandson to gang violence shooting/drive by a week before his graduation. I was in severe depression for some time that is ALL I focused on getting the word out, getting someone to notice and pay attention to our story. As well, the girlfriend on the phone passed away from cancer. I felt I had NO ONE I MEAN NO ONE to tell my deepest most intimate feelings. That, has since changed. Yes, I honor my grandson always foremost before anything. But, its in a more positive way. Through music through awareness not anger. And, my dear sweet teenage son who is the light in my eye. He used to jam to AG's music Testify word for word beat for beat. He hates it when he is left at home and mom gets her one night of the year out on the town. If, I could just switch his taste in music just a tad bit SIGH !! Now, after I did the fundraiser actually in the middle of it the station wren radio internet contacted me and said I want you on board. I was like REALLY ?? I have NO experience in radio but I have passion galore !!! Passion to make things happen that I believe in !!!! AND , that is what they were looking for !! The drive, the passion. But, its internet radio not radio radio. BIG DIFFERENCE !!! And, lack of pay at the moment which yes, I struggled with that but if you LOVE something so much and it brings good to people , you WILL be rewarded some day. And, my friends that is what life is about !!! PAY IT FORWARD !! So, that is the reason behind this blog, the creation of this blog. Follow me in my journey of life and maybe just maybe it might inspire you to make your dreams come true !!! No, I am not goody toe shoes by NO means hahah !! I am not a sleaze trash wanna be freak-o groupie either !!! I have the UTMOST respect for EVERY Blues artists out there. AGAIN, it's paying it forward !! Well, I could write a book. But, I need more coffee and am going to work on getting a playlist added on here !! As well, this blog will follow what we do at the Blues Influence Show on Sunday nights from 6p 10p in a female's perspective !! YES , I work with ALL men ohhhh boy some days its difficult and other days just plain a hoot !! SO ENJOY !! AND have a fanbluestastic day !!!
